Due to the varied requirements of skills and knowledge in TSDAF, we have dvided our forces into units. Each with their own unique sub-divisions of roles. After basic, every recruit will be reccomened to the unit that would be suit them according to their preformance during basic. There the budding new recurits will go through a second training phase would commence. At last the unit is introduced into the system as a rookie until they prove themself worthy of specialization.

What each unit is expected to do:

1 units:

Unit 1s are non combatants who are incharge of research and science in the TSADF. Due to the ever growing and alternating threats, these unit are vital to managing and learning about the supernatural and abnormal creatures, situations and knowledge. Inteligence is vital for this role, with at least a advanced understanding of folklore, medical, biological, historical, cultural, religious, physics, mathematics, astromeny, astralogy and chemistry.

The specialization of this unit types is scientists, researchers, medical reseachers and management of experiments. The day to day expectations of these units is to carry out experiments and on the ground research to help further TSADF knowledge about the unknown. Work hours are limited to 9-5 with a chance for longer hours if HR sees fit.

Unlike other units, 1 units are allowed to live off of base if they are not SSU units. However, units are expected to live within the area code of the base. If the unit lives outside of this area, a tracker must be kept and turn on at all times.

2 units:

Unit 2s are non combatants who are incharge of medical and biological management of units and on the rare sitution civies. These units are expected to have medical training to and above the rank of nurse or combat medic. Further training will be provided to supliment each units ability to deal with SSU and SSBU units. 2 Units can get by with vetrenary knowledge but will have to take supplementary training before moving further into the unit.

The specialization of thus unit types is vet, combat medic, SSU medic, SSBU combat medic, medical researcher, non-combatant medic, doctor, nurse, plastic surgon, specialist surgon, witch doctor, pharmasits and chief of medical. Work hours are entirely dependant on the role which the unit has. Combat medics, including SSBU combat medics, can expect full around the clock days where as nurses and surgons will run 12 hour shifts and pharmesits and non combatant medics are more likely to work 6 hour shifts. Vets work on off hours, due to the limited animals present in the TSADF.

2 Units are expected to always remain on base or if they are combat medics, or SSBU combat units, to be within range of their squad to ensure quick and realiable response times. Supplies will be brought and managed by HR in order to ensure that these units are where they are meant to be.

3 Units:

3 Units are interesting as they are expected to do a wide varity of jobs. These units are expected to be craftsman, maintance workers, janitors, non SSU/SSBU supernatural caretakers, disposal, neferious knowledge and cognito hazards cover-ups and cleaning.

3 Units are expected to maintain a consistant quality in their work, to make sure that all non SSU/SSBU supernatural creatures are adaquately cared for. Above all else the protection of the public from neferious knowledge and cognito hazards up to an exceeding use of lethal force.

4 Units:

Parential units are one of the biggest important workers in the background of TSADF system. These units are expected to raise, care for, and foster young Supernatural and Abnormal entities and in some situations acting as a caretaker of your human co-workers young as well.

Do to the senstive nature of this job, most 4 units have to go through an extensive vetting process and a year long trial period under a more senior officer. However after this process, Units can expect themselves to be assigned to a task such as raising a Luna, running a on-location schools and daycares.

5 Unit:

5 Units are the engineers of TSADF. They cover all manners of contruction and building. As TSADF works with rather specialized situations, including the risks of Cognito Hazards, TSADF rarely ever hires outside contractors. As a result, we have a high demand for engineers. Engineers will be tasked with building, designing and tearing down all the sites TSADF will use.

Of course qualifications are expected to be the most important part of the hiring process. And unlike other contractors, the TSADF maintains a consistant contract in which you will be paid and reserve all the usual benefits of being hired.

6 Units:

After a long few years of working in the Armed forced of TSADF, there is many tasks still to do. Retired operators can be expected to remain hired as TOC operators, heads of sercurity, drill instructors and information experts for researchers. Of course these are paid positions and will be up for discussion.

Due to the massive Cognito Hazards most of our retired staff will be capible of, it is very likely that the TSADF would attempt to negotate to maintain your prolonged service.

7 Unit:

Unlike usual organisations, our PR units are in charge of hidding and preventing Cognito Hazards from spreading. While the gernal public understand that the TSADF are responsible for the capture, protection and nutralisation of supernatural and abnormal hazards, unfortunatly due to the very nature of Cognito Hazards, the actual details of these incidents must be hidden.

7 Units can be expected to deal with boardrooms, civilains, armed forces units (both TSADF and outside units), governments and even non-human leaders. As a result being a good speaker is vital for this role. Furthermore, 7 Units will be expected to consistantly go to Psych Evals every week.

8 Units:

The major difference between 7 Units and 8 Units is that PR units work with the public and Cognito Management Staff work with the abnomilies/supernatural and TSADF staff. As a result, 8 Units are usually made of 7 Unit veterns or those who pass Psych Evals with flying colours. These units are expected to have a strong control over their emotions and extreme loyality to TSADF above all else.

Unlike the other units you will not be able to choose if you join this unit or not. You will be choosen if you meet the requirements. As a result if you are looking forward to working for this unit rather have a back-up.

SSU:

If you are not a human, your only options in the TSADF is either as a SSU or SSBU. The SSU units are expected to have a very good understanding of humans, and a large amount self-control. SSU units will be further trained in how best to behave around humans in the culture they are deployed and how to work with Non-TSADF units.

All SSU units are still expected to have handlers, usually a senior memeber of the unit they are assinged to. But this is mostly to ensure that unexpected outbursts are properly managed and that SSU units have a professional caretake on call if needed.

While we understand that all units have a unique set of skills, your species will be a deciding factor in your placement as an SSU. This is solely for safety reason, for example expecting a Buffy to work well with blood is unfair and hazardous beyond the potential benefit. Talk with your Drill Instructor or Parental Unit on what can be expected for you.

9 Unit:

Unfortunatly nothing in the TSADF is entirely safe, as a result Sercurity units are needed. Sercurity units would be the staff on hand of location, labs, on-site housing, on-site amenities and on-site schools to ensure the safety of human and SSU units alike. While the pretection of non-SSU/non-SSBU supernaturals/abnormalies is part of the job, it will always be secondary to the protection of allied units.

Physcial strenght and abilites is vital to this job in order to uphold the protection of others. There is no pre-requirements to joining this squad, all skills will be trained by your Drill Instructor.

10 Unit:

10 Units are the boots on the grounds soldiars. Unlike 9 units these units are expected to be deployable at a moments notice. They will usually be stationed on either a moving base or in a on-site location. These units are usually only expected to operate for 25 years on average, of course the timeframe is depent on other situations.

While there is no pre-requirements to joining these units, having pre-exsisting experance in either law enforcement or military careers.

11 Unit:

Spirtual Units are a low ranking spec-ops unit which is expected to be present in both 9 Units and 10 Units. 11 Units are the on hand spirtual leaders and the experts on cultural supernaturals. These units are epxected to have experience and qualifications in the culture they represent, with at the very least two advocates of your qualifications.

Unlike most other units, 11 units can be found in any squad on any secter ever.

12 Unit:

Capture units are in charge of capturing Feral Assets, Anomilies and Supernaturals. Capture units have a more dangerous job than 10 and 9 units as they are expected to use less than lethal force. However, most 12 units are rarely sent on missions with highly dangerous capture targets.

All 12 units are usually expected to serve at least 2 to 3 years in other armed forces of the TSADF units.

13/14/15/16 Units:

Spec ops units are not a unit you can easily sign into. You need to be assinged to these units instead of being something you can join up for. In order to be assinged to these units, you need to display an above average consistant compertancy during your time in one of the other Armed Forces of the TSADF.

17 Units:

17 Units are a relatively new units to the TSADF. These units are incharge of monitoring and treating the metal health of SSU, Armed Forces, non-combatents and SSBU units. 17 Units are expected to be degree holding and qualitfied in their careers of psychology and psychiatric studies as well as biological psychology. A handful of years of experience is also expected before you will be able to join. Afterwards, a training period will be put into place in order to bring you up to pace with the supernatural and abnoraml aspects of the job.

SSBU:

SSBU are the combative supernatural units. SSBU units are not expected to be perfect at interacting with humans as long as they maintain a professional and loyal disposition. SSBU units are often asigned based on species and ability in order to make the most use of your natural skills, stregnth and senses. Of course, SSBU units will be more monitored than other SSU in order to ensure no Feral Assests.
