Not to sound like an edgelord, although I quite think I am, but what is human nautre? I mean, I personaly thing it's the ability to be deliberatly evil. As in the ability to go out of your way to help or harm someone. My arguement is that animals can't actively choose to be evil or morally good. Mostly because animals are still unfortunately slaves to their instincts. In other words, if a cat hunts a mouse, it's not actually thinking further than it's own hunger or hunting intincts.
But with humans, there is usually more of a choice. More free will. And as a result are capible of evil. Note, when I say evil I do mean the concept of unneeded acts of cruelity, not like, stealing food to feed your family but more like going out of your way to commit a crime solely for personal pleasure or such. Like, most animals, aside from Dolphins and Chimpanzes, don't actively waste energy for no good reason. Note, I do stand corrected if this was incorrect information. But here's the thing, humans can be sadistic.
Which is why my entire point is that it is human nature to be able to choose to be evil. Bonus points, is that the ability to choose despite the opportunity to do an evil deed decides against it.
Although, to be very honest, a part of the human condition is ther desire for companionship. Humans are social creatures which also means there is a desire to try to and maintain groups, or relationships (unless you have commitment issues like me :), as it is pare of the survival instinct. That is also why anti-social behaviour is seen as such a bad or negative thing. So to an extent, it is a somewhat selfish idea to try to uphold your social standing, like most survival instincts. But it is also very understandable.
I will be honest, this rant is partucally because the Parnthenox rant mixed with thinking about how odd it is to think a group of people is incapible of horrible actions. All humans have free will which means the ability to commit evil and to think otherwise is to dehumanise people.
