Ghost Master

Have you heard off Ghost Master? It's like a pc game where you use ghosts to complete quests, mostly scaring the shit outta some humans. It's pretty damn cool. I've been playing it a bit recently. I wouldn't say I'm all that good at it, I mean it's somewhat easy, if you know the mechanics. But it's like RTS where you have manage the amount of ectoplasm you are using to summon the ghosts into the mortal plane and how not to over use it, while also keeping on the humans your dealing with, and trying to free other ghosts to get more of an army, and complete your quest. Like the first mission has you using your ghosts to scare all of the girls out of a dormatory and by gos is it fun. I like games where you can play that sort of role, but I'm shit at PvP, so I kinda need more PvE type of games like that.

But back to Ghost Master, it's really fun. I mean, I've always loved ghost designs, mostly because of the creepy and somewhat tradgic aspect of them and by golly do they get it right. I mean, some ghosts are more qurirky than scary, and some are just like, the freaking boogy man but there's still a good number of tradgic ghosties around. Plus the whole mechanic of ghosts only being able to haunt certain things. Like a murder victim can only haunt items labled as violenc or pain. So, you can't just spam spawn a shit ton of scary ghosts at the front door or anything like that. There a little more planning needed. But to balence it out, some ghosts can alter the things they are placed at. Like an electrical specture can turn off the lights in a room, either luring or scaring more people in that area.

The best strat I found was to have one ghost lure people to an area and other do the brunt force of the scaring. So, I'd place one ghost to make a spoooky noise and lure the humans to that area, only for another ghost to like, posess them or give them the shivers or cause GHOST SPIDERS to drop down from the FUCKING CEILINGS! In other words. Fun times.

Movin' on. We also have the ability to like check out the humans. You've got their bio and can see what scares would freak them out the most. So if you weren't planning on just using FUCKING GHOST SPIDERS DROPPING FROM THE CEILING TO OVER POWER EVERYTHING, you could plan how to seclude a person and then hit them with their worst fears, sending them into a state of insanity and causing them to run out of the building, screaming, crying and very liekly tramatised. Also another reason to have a ghost holded up at the door or exit of the map to, neatly and politely scare them back to the horror house. Now, some quests involve less, scare everyone until they have a mental break down, try to escape and then realise you pulled a corspe party bad end and they're stuck here, and more, lure humans to an area to uncover the unfortunte corpses of serial killer victims, or help them summon a demon.

Plus the game's got style. Like, it looks like a nintendo game you'd find on Christmas eve, I don't know if that's how Chirstmas works, i've never had one, and play for like a flat out week. It's a fun, drop in drop out, kinda game. Not stupid hard once you figure out what the game needs from you and quite fun to scare humans to the point of life altering trama. The only major complaint is that there is no way I have found to replay old levels, you just kinda have to move to the next level or restart the whole ass game to re-do old levels. But that's a small complaint for a great dumb fun for an afternoon between other things.
