Alright, this isn't a whole thing about religion or anything like that. If you worship gods of any kind that's your freewill and why can use it how you'd like. But that sure as Hell does not mean I gotta agree to it. Look, I am not a fan of the idea of fate or destany or anything to that idea.
I mean, you can probably guess why. I mean, it's kinda hard to like the gods if they just decide that the best idea is to just damn you until the end of the world because of some old hag who claims to be a wanna be oracle. No, I'm not salty. I'M PISSED!
But moving on. There's no real way to have both freewill and the concept of fate. Else, things just are meant to happen. If you are fated to do something, like say if fate says you're gonna wear a blue hoodie today, by heaven and hell you're gonna end up wearing a blue hoodie. Which is weird to think about, since that means that if you're "fated" to be, I don't know, the killer of the gods, than you will be regardless of your wants to or not to. So, that means that regardless of my choices in life that I am damned to that fate.
Uh... Yes, this might just be a bit of a complaining about being tied up 'cause of the whole 'fate' thing. Look, I didn't feel like killing Odin before, but I sure as fuck do now. I mean, come on. Guys a prick. And if '"fate" didn't say his sone would off me, I'd go after Tyr next.
Okay, I got a little off topic. Now, look, gods make a lot of sense. Hell, I know some. But gods are somewhat annoying mostly because I don't like bowing the knee to anything. I believe that there's no reason for a person to have to bow to men, kings or gods. We should live our lives by only kneeling to our ideals and loved ones, as those things have the lowest odds of betraying us. And even loved ones is limits, note Tyr the fucking backstabber. So, uh... Be careful who you trust but definatly DO NOT support lords, ladies, counts, countess, dukes, dutchess, princes, princesses, queens, kings and emperors. So, anyone in power.
Which I should think is a commonly known idea. I mean, come on, MK Ultra, the Third Reich, how most countries treat war vets and so on. But if you believe in fate, you're kinda fucked. I still prefer just following the idea that we all have free will. Like, just because Tyr, Odin and all the others who I don't hate enough to remember, damned me, doesn't mean it's because they were "fated" too, or whatever. It was their own idea and actions with full freewill to do so.
But yeah, that's my rant for now. Is it short? Yes. But hey, it's all I've got for now. See you at Ragnorok.
