Well, hello there, dear reader.

How was your day so far? Because I'm up for a rant. Namely, my fucking laptop decided to kill itself. So, hang ten, dear reader for a bit of a rant. If you want. You know?

Windows fucking sucks. Everyone knows that. Uh, I mean, it's got good applications and programs but uh... That is until every few weeks, when Windows decides to "upgrade" everything. And somehow, those fucking upgrades brick everything. I mean, how do you break a laptops GPU? Well, fuck the drivers up I suppose, but still.

I and my bro, more or less family tech support, had to try to fix it between two freaking days. TWO DAYS! To fix a problem which only exsists because of Microsoft. YAY! Fucking fantastic, isn't it?!

Look, I love my laptop. It's a great laptop, but it mostly relies on GPU to do all of it's stuff. You know? So, even something like running a browser is off-set onto the GPU to do. When the GPU dies, the laptop is just a fancy metal case that can't really run anything. So, we have to delete all of the drivers, reinstall them, reupdate it and then run it. Because something caused the drivers to stop functioning in any manner. Lovely, no?

Look, I do mess around with computers for work. Granted low difficulty work like front end design, but still. I get that computer software programming must be hell, but I do still expect the laptop I paid money for to kinda work? I don't think that's way to rude to say, no? Like, I bought the product, I will like the product to work, maybe. Please. Come on Windows.

The sucky part, is that I don't mind the idea of jumping to Linex, but I am kinda an idiot. I am not going to enjoy having to abandon some programs I'm used to and so on. You know what I mean, dear reader? I'm used to Windows, having to relearn everything just because of some corpo dumbass just throwing out a shit OS update. Not cool.

So, fuck yeah! Windows 11, what can't they break. Honestly, I've read and seen the fucking notepad app stop responding. The note pad app. An app, you use to make notes. Motherfucker, pen and paper can do it, how did you screw that up Microsoft?! I mean come on. Breaking a freaking calculator makes more sense that breaking everything else. At least a freaking calculator has moving parts, a notepad app just needs to record letters, or characters.

Look, I'm sure the good folks at Microsoft are having a hell of a time trying to fix everything and keep new patching roling out and what not. I'm just pissed off at having to loan the right to use my laptop, you know? It's frustrating. I paid for a product, why is it a gamble if the damn thing turns on tommorrow or not?

Go back?
