On the internet I mean. Like I am sure that anyone with enough time could find out a considerable amount of information about me by just digging around on my site, finding an email, maybe some reletives. I mean, think about what I have openly told you on this site already. My likes, some about where I live, my family, sure through code of a moniker or a persona (Fenrir) but still.
Even a good man, who hides his data, cleans his history and activate his VPN can still be tracked at the glow of the midnight screens.
Okay, shitty poem aside, you get what I mean. Because almost any interaction with a site on the internet can potionally be slowly tracked. Especially socials.
Like, just think about how much you can dig up about someone from their social media. Or more likely how many people just tell on social media. And I don't just mean LOL-Cows, I mean everyone. People will post images with their face, their voice, their houses, their cars, their family, their children. If anyone wanted to they could dig about, learn everything about someone.
I mean, doxing is illegal, believe it or not, but you can't arrest someone for doxing if ther vicitm is just posting information. And honestly, it's mildly terrifying.
Because realisitically, there is no way to remain anonmous in the present day. Partcually because everyone, likely including you, is walking around with a GPS device and camera and microphone in their pocket, or because every fucking corpo is trying to sap more info from you. Cookies and what not can track interests, gps and location is found because we offer it up on a fucking silver platter and now with shit like ai deeper emotional data can get stored.
Now here's the funny part, we're just kinda fucked at this point. Yes, the most logical way to hide shit is pen and paper, but even that is not working. Like there was a case where this person killed their parents, details are no entirely important, but they wrote the plan down on a exam pad before ripping out the page but the blues managed to read it through the inprints on the page underneath the one written on. So, hate to be a Debby Downer, but you're fucked.
There is likely very few ways to have fully hidden information and privacy anymore. Like before people didn't just buy fucking recording devices and host it in their homes for a personal assistant. Or just casually post photos on the internet. Like you know, OnlyFans is just people posting very personal photos online, and no, anyone can just rip those off the site. It's not locked away.
The interesting thing, is I've given up. Like, I'm not going do anything stupid like posting more than I usually do, but well, I feel like it would be impossible to maintain online anonimous. The funny thing is, I don't know how to feel about this. Like, on one hand, crimes revealed online leading to criminal being bagged? Good thing. Very good thing. On the other hand, I think the interent shouldn't result in mass servialence.
